  1. I just updated me Instagram and it wasn’t working so i logged out and i tried to sign back in and it wouldn’t let me sign back in, instead it says that you have to update it even tho i did, What should i do? I turned off my phone and delete the app several times now. I give up! What is going on with Instagram?

      Hi there. It’s frustrating, I know, but unless they’ve suspended your account, there’s hope. Here’s what I’d do. First, hard-reset your device; press the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously, releasing them only when you see the Apple logo. Second, go to Settings > General > Date & Time; make sure “Set Automatically” is switched on. Third, make sure you’re using the right login credentials; if in doubt, tap “Forgot your Password” on the login screen and reset your password. Fourth, use the Safari app to navigate to Instagram.com; try to log in from there. Then, go to WhatIsMyIP.com to get your iDevice IP address. Then, file a report at https://help.instagram.com/contact/364531043625021, providing your IP addy and informing whether you were able to access your account from your iDevice browser.       P.S. You may also want to wait a few hours before doing anything. There’s been a spike in Instagram login issues over the past 24 hours (https://downdetector.com/status/instagram), suggesting that their system — and not your device or app — is malfunctioning.

  2. I deleted Instagram a couple days ago so I wouldn’t be distracted during the day. I went to add it back and it keeps telling me i need the ‘updated version” of Instagram..even though i DO have the updated version..? It wont let me login and i am really frustrated.
